a friend just gave me an MG-1 from the early 80s that is in need of repairs. the problem is that every key plays the same note, and sometimes it plays nothing at all. i took it in to a store but its 60 bucks just to look at it and diagnose the problem, so im hoping to maybe figure it out myself. just wondering if anyone knows where i could get a manual or book on how Realstic synths work or how to fix them or if anyone has experience diong this kind of thing. the sales person said it could need some resodding of wires, which would be a manageable job. any help is appreciated. im also curious if it would be worth putting 120-180 dollars to get the whole thing fixed by a pro. thanks.
