Hi,

Does anyone know what modules the Model A contained? I searched for it on the net, but I can't find any information on that subject.

An old keyboard part (3-octaves), a simple slide pot on the left side of the keyboard to adjust the pitch (which becames later the pitch wheel), and only a few modules: single oscillators, 901A oscillator controller, filter parts, and two 911 envelope generators. I *think* that's all.

If you're interested in how the MOOG synths came to live I'd recommend to read the book "Analog Days - The invention and impact of the MOOG synthesizer" by Trevor Pinch and Frank Trocco (and foreword by Dr. MOOG himself).

Hi -
does anybody know which funktion the both knobs over the portamento-knob have? (Left side of the front panel). I cannot read the labels, which are taped on the front panel. Are there any GOOD /high resolution Photos about the Model A in this world? How ist the envelope generator labeled?
It is not possible to get any contact to Audities Foundation, where a Model A sleeps in a dark Garage....so i have to ask the cracks in this forum. Thanks for an answer + best regards from germany

Nice pic !!
Here you see very clearly that the first Mini was derived from the MOOG modular systems.
