hello, I just got a mini moog and the hinges work, but the pannel wont stay in any upright possition, am I missing something?

You or another new user may be missing something very basic. The "hinge" runs the length of the electronics and is what the box is attached to the frame with.

On the floor inside the back of the case, is an aluminum plate on a shorter hinge, on only 2-3" wide. It will be lying flat on its own. With one hand swing the elctronics box up to the angle you like, and with the other manually lift the flap up and rest it underneath one of the small screws protruding in a line down the back of the unit. Lower the electronics onto the flap. This only offers about 3 positions other than flat, but that is how it is intended to work.
