I just bought a Prodigy on ebay. I believe there may be a
problem with the L.F.O. However, I'm new to this synth.

Here are the symptoms...

When the oscillator mod is turned on and the triangle
shape is chosen, the modulation wheel bends the pitch
down beyond 3 octaves to an inaudible pitch when
pushed all the way forward. While in square wave
shape, the wheel has no effect. The rate knob has no
effect in either shape. I'm assuming that this is a
problem. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

For the filter, this is where my inexperience with the
prodigy lies and I'm not 100% sure how it should
properly work. When the filter mod is turned on, the
wheel does effect the cutoff. But, the "volume" fades
out as the wheel is turned forward. It has the same
effect when the emphasis is up full to self
generating. I would think the filter wheel would
provide the reverse effect by fading in, not fading
out. The rate knob does not effect the filter in
either shape (triangle or square). I would think that
they should, but I'm not 100% sure on the routing.

Anybody have answers??
