|
|
Hi, everyone !
I have just signed up for the Forum, mainly because i have recently
bought 2 Moog Songproducers, and found that the disks with the software for the Commodore 64 were both faulty.
Is there anyone in the world who has it backed up somewhere, and is
willing to share it with me ?
I can't wait to get the thing working, and dive back into the 80's !
Thanks a million in advance !
Kindest regards from Belgium.

g'day - you're in luck! i made a D64 of the song producer software a while back, because my disk was extremely temperamental, and in addition to making a backup or two, i wanted an image to store on my hard drive. do you know how to convert a D64 into a real disk, and have the requisite equipment? if not, i could mail you a real-world disk. otherwise, give us your email address and i'll send the D64 your way! |

because i accidentally posted as a guest and couldn't edit the post, i thought i'd also say - for reference and experimentation - that my disk didn't work until i put some alcohol on the magnetic surface (a few drops onto that oval-shaped window thing), and then spun the disk repeatedly (manually, by twisting the inner ring - NOT in the disk drive!) until it'd spread all over the disk and evaporated. 5.25" disks are very temperamental after a few years! |

Hi,
i have sent email with the .d64 attached.
it is an emulator-related files, but can be transferred back to the
original 1541 disk drive, and run on a c-64.
you'll need the Moog Songproducer to be attached to the C-64
for the program to function.
Best regards,
Rob |

Rob,
I tried the file with an emulator and it seems to be ok. I didn't buy the cable for connecting my 1541 to my PC yet, so I didn't I have the chance to test it on my C64.
Thank you very much for all.
